The mission of the Upper Potomac Tributary Team is to reduce nutrient and sediment inputs and to restore habitat in the Upper Potomac Watershed through community participation. The team believes that it can make the most effective contributions to protecting and restoring the Upper Potomac Watershed by focusing on the following four themes:

  1. 1. Stream Restoration and Reforestation Projects: work with organizations and landowners to accomplish stream restoration and reforestation projects.

"What’s the Club about?" It's about water, mostly flat water on lakes, streams, and lazy rivers. High waves and churning rapids. Water rushing between rocks and sliding over ledges. Water rolling into gentle eddies, or drifting slowly through wooded hills, past abandoned settlements, and around islands filled with trees and birds and not much else. Even water from the ocean, reflecting the light of distant stars before breaking in waves upon the beach. Mostly the club is about water.
