smalljaw  06/11/2005 - 08:36  Trip Reports  Clopper    Weather forecast be darned, we were going to Clopper for some after work Greenies. I really like fishing Clopper because no trailered boats are allowed out there which really cuts down on the pressure that it gets. There are usually a few bank fishermen out there but there are hardly ever any car-top boat guys. Muskalungee and I pushed off of the shore at about 4:00pm on Thursday evening. The wind was calm and the water was like glass. I started with a brush hawg but pretty quickly switched over to my go-to largemouth bait, the Zoom lizard. Pretty good call from an action standpoint as my first 8 fish came in over the next hour or so.
