Rodeo This Weekend - Brunswick Campground

FYI, there is a rodeo this weekend at the Brunswick Campground. There will be a bunch of people fishing in the area, will all congregating at the Brunswick Campground in the evening. If you've never been to a rodeo before, I recommend stopping by. It's great to meet some fellow fishing enthusiasts, swap stories, and just hang out. You don't have to camp (I don't), just swing by and say hi.

Campground Info

I'll be there Friday evening after the Capt and I are done slaying them all day. If you go, please come up and say hi. We won't be hard to find at the campground.

Attention Fishing Geeks: MDfishing.org Fantasy Fishing Leauge

Yeah, I'm a geek. I decided to start a fantasy fishing league on http://games.espn.go.com/bass/frontpage. I'm not a tourney guy, but I am pretty competitive so I thought this would make watching those Saturday AM fishing shows a little more exciting. The group is private, so if you would like to get in reply to this post and I will send you an invite to the email address listed in your profile. It's free, and just for fun so we're not going to play for money or anything. I think it'll be a blast, and I'll post the results here on the site weekly.

You only have until February 20, 9:00am ET to sign up and pick your anglers. So please get in soon.

New State Record TIDAL Largemouth Bass

A new state record Largemouth was caught and released on the Anglers Choice tournament on the Lower Potomac ( Smallwood St park). It weighed 11lb 90z. Ive been looking for pics. If anybody comes across them lets get it posted! I have emails out to the tourney guys already.

Picture is up on Anglers Choice website.
The fish was a tidal largemouth record.
