Walleyes near dam 4 and 5
Walleye Fanatic  03/21/2006 - 10:50  Fishing Reports    Fished the dam 4 and 5 areas last weekend and the river was really low.....we caught 5 walleyes (all less than 15") and 1 smallmouth. We need rain badly and I don't remember the river being this low since August, if that.
He Captain, I saw your pics of the walleyes from early February...nice, where did you catch them?

As incredible as it sounds.....
Captwalleye  03/22/2006 - 14:19    As incredible as it sounds,I caught them out of the Patapsco.They came during the magic hour.The transition between light and dark.I'll start trying the the morning transition (dark to light)too once the air temp stay above freezing.
I want to hit the Potomac,but can't seem to get my act together to get up there.I will eventually.

Dee Tee  03/21/2006 - 11:31    Congrats!!!! I was out in the yak below dam 4 two weeks ago and got skunked. Good to know there are there. I guess I need to head farther up stream.
