Cough, Cough, I'm feeling lightheaded I don't think I'll make it in to work tomorrow
ShawnLittle  05/11/2005 - 08:00  Impoundments    One of my friends called and said he hadn't been fishing at all this year (new daughter, killer work schedule) and that he had off Thursday. I said well I think I can help you out with that problem and I'll be on my way to Loch Raven tomorrow. Of course, monitoring the weather all week I saw that it was going to be 80 degress, chances for Isolated Thunderstorms, 6 mph winds out of Northwest. Now this was as late as 8:00 last night! What do you know this morning I get to work check the weather and BAM!!! Winds are now up to 11mph out of the east, tempature dropped to 72 as high and afternoon showers are added to the isolated thunderstorms. When will I get a day this spring of no wind????????? I'm sure it will happen this weekend because I won't be able to get out. UNBELIEVABLE. The rain I can handle and am actually starting to prefer but another day of battling wind is starting to grate on me. Anyone know of a dependable weather site that actually gets a long range forecast right? I use accuweather and weather.com and they flat out can only forecast the weather about 8 hours in advance. That is another reason the Monocacy is so great because the wind isn't so much of a factor, 3 more weeks and I'll be a fixture on that river, 3 more weeks...........

Between that forcast and the weather.com stuff you should still pretty much have no idea what to expect. :) Weather is funny like that.
