Loch Raven Reservoir at it again
ShawnLittle  05/08/2005 - 10:56  Impoundments    Saturday was another great day to be out on the resovoir, though after seeing those smallie pics from Monocacy I can see I was out at the wrong place. Day of course was spent battling the wind, and my fishing partner ended up falling off of the boat into the water which was unbelievably funny at the end of the day. This was the largest LM caught on the day but the others weren't nothing to be ashamed of:

All bass and pickerel were caught on ...Read More..spinnerbaits except the one pictured, it was caught on a jerkbait. Total score Team Good 13 Loch Raven 3 (2 lures and one fisherman)

Congratulations!

Loch Raven is electric only
ShawnLittle  05/10/2005 - 07:29    Loch Raven is electric only, is a very large body of water and to me it seems like fish are in every cove on every piece of structure. It really is a beautiful place to fish, plenty of wildlife, as always the best time to get out there is the middle of the week because there are very few people out there. No, I wasn't stranded on an island this time but with the winds being as high as they have been the past couple of weekends I'd be willing to bet there was more than one person stranded on an island. If you don't rent enough batteries on a windy day, you're in for a very rude awakening because rowing back a jon boat in the wind isn't very fun. Trust me on this, I've done it.
