Another Liberty Walleye for the Captain

I swapped rods, and headed for the bottom of Liberty Dam. There is just alittle water flowing over. I had planned on floating/wading up there to fish the pool there, but thought I had a better deal come up. That fizzled out. Anyway, I threw a spinner bait, Brewers gurb, and my good old swimbait. Guess what produced? Of course, the swimbait. I got a tap, and than ka thump, and than instant loaded fishing rod. It was a 18 1/4" walleye. It was doing some pulling too. No drag squalling but rod pulsing. The water is still pretty cold, and it was decked out in it's finest array of markings. The water is clear, and I watched it swim along as I led it to where I could get down to it. I landed, photoed, and released it.
