Custom jet boat builder. I spoke with the owner, James Starkey, at the 2005 MD Fishing Expo in Timonium and he is a real down to earth guy. No airs about him, he seems to want to put you in the boat that YOU want. The quote was "You draw it and I'll build it". He has some standard layups but he said the bottom line was if you can think it up then he'll build it for you. I really got the impression that Mr Starkey is actually the person building the boats too. That's why you go to a custom builder! He also told me that he has a six week turnaround which I think is pretty amazing given what he does.
