Trouble In Paradise?

Update: Ladies and Gentlemen we have a Winner! See this post for the GOOD NEWS!

One of our favorite websites www.riversmallies.com seems like it may about to change dramatically. As per this post by Brian King:
"I don't want there to be any misconceptions about my original post concerning the future of the site. The post was not a result of any particular topic or the fact that people disagree. People have been doing that since day one and there have been plenty of hot topics.

As the site grows it is taking up more of my time. I've reached a threshold as to how much time I am willing to spend tied to the computer.

I will go into more detail in the near future. I just want to make it clear that "bickering" and controversial topics are not the reason for my post."

I wonder what's going to happen?

Captwalleye  06/08/2004 - 12:58    Thank's for adjusting me up to real time. Now You can see that I operate under some strange hours.Be cool, stay cool, Go Fish! Capt.

Well.....
Captwalleye  06/08/2004 - 05:13    There's a good chance that this fantastic source of information and camaraderie will cease or under go a complete overhaul (Not for the good either, look at Bassmaster since Espn bought it)It's a shame that some people have to misuse or express themselves in such a negative fashion. They do have that right though, but it's the long term effects that come back to haunt them and us.Fishing is fun, relaxing, and plain old good for your soul. The Smallmouth Bass is a truly fine adversary,
for all anglers of all levels of proficency.
I haven't been able to investigate and read all the threads concerning the controversy yet.I've just had little bits and pieces,
so far.I do realize and appreciate the weight that falls on Brian's shoulders. It's heavy, and will not be denied. For the sake of my brothers and sisters who've joined and make this family of Smallmouth
enthusiast, what it is.I hope that, the senior members can reach a fair
and just decision, and keep this site together as is.
I'm new to it.Only a member for a couple months, but have meet some truly righteous people. They've helped me make some decisions on purchasing a kayak, lent their expertise on techniques and locations to fish, and the best part.Share their experiences (good and bad),
photos,and humor.
I have my fingers crossed, how about you?

Wow! That was fast
Captwalleye  06/08/2004 - 06:21    Got a chance to peek at R.S.just awhile ago,and was very pleased when I read the first comment.I see a light, and will keep a positive attitude, that it will all work out.
