I usually have a tough go at Triadelphia. I had some success with big largemouths in the spring with soft plastics there, but a lot of times I end up getting skunked.
I've never had much luck with surface lures there, but earlier this summer a lot of panfish were hitting the furface near sunset. I think if I would have had a fly rod and small popper I would have caught a mess of them.
Last October and November I did reasonably well for bass at Triadelphia on suspending jerk baits and in-line spinners. But I don't really have that place figured out at all. I wish I had a dollar every time I got skunked at the WSSC reservoirs. But they are close and being on the water is always fun in itself. I really enjoy kayaking on the WSSC reservoirs. They really are nice places to paddle.
