Fishing Boat/ Long time No Post
BaconSlayer  07/17/2009 - 10:19  Roll Your Own    Hello,

Its been a while since I have posted. My fishing buddy (Little Brother) had decided to take a job transfer to San Francisco so I havent been able to find anyone to get out much. However, I was on the potomac rtiver the other day and I have decided to start looking for a boat for the river and wanted to see if anyone is looking to sell one. I am looking for a 16 to 18 foot tracker / G3/ Lowe style boat for the potomac river. If anyone knows of anyone selling one I would be happy to take a look at it. I also have a question. I have seen a lot on the web that have regular prop propellers and not many with jet motors. What is your take on this? Any help appreaciated. Nice to see this site just as active as before.
Im new to posting but enjoy r
Big02  07/27/2009 - 15:50    Im new to posting but enjoy reading the posts, been fishing the Potomac and Mono for 30 years now but still seem to learn something new everytime. I know its not what you were looking for but just thought Id let you know

BaconSlayer  07/29/2009 - 14:23    Jason,
I will keep this in mind but I am looking for something a little bigger. Something like a tracker style 16.5 feet or larger. If you know anyone selling one please let me know.

Then go here to get alot of information on jets and river boating in general:

Then go here to find boats and other stuff for sale:
http://riversmallies.invisionzone.com/index.php?showforum=5

I would also watch craigslist for boats too. There are often very good deals there. Just be careful. Don't buy a boat that doesn't have a title. You won't be able to register it and you will have to find another victim to be able to get rid of it.

Jeff, Thanks for your help
