Trophy Rockfish!
jackson  05/07/2009 - 05:39  Trip Reports

Just thought I'd share a couple pics. of my son, Jason, and his wife, Kari with couple trophies caught last week. Largest 47" @38#'s and 43" @ 28#'s. They also had 4 others right at 40"! (have to wait for Muskalungee to upload) My son, Daughter-in-law, and Granddaughter have lived on eastern shore for about 5 years. They enjoy it all, fishing, crabbing, and especially, deer, turkey, and waterfowl hunting. He also has his own successful taxidermy business, http://www.oakcreektaxidermy.com. I do not believe they will ever come back to the west side of the bridge! '

stripes are great

If my wife was into fishing..
ogbudha  05/08/2009 - 21:50    Back in the day I was a first mate and guided out of Hemingways,Deale,Lookout, O.C., Va beach,Oregon Inlet and of course Pirates Cove. There is not much else like it....

I still love and am obsese with my river smallies...but the smell of diesel and the rolling waves will have a soft spot in my heart for the remainder of my days. FISH ON!!!

Muskalungee....I think its time we hit the bay or mouth of Potomac for a few outbound pigs
