Me and my dad went to Cunningham Falls Lake today from 4:45-6:45. Bought a couple dozen nightcrawlers at Fox's on the way up there. Beautiful day outside, had a great time. Fishin was slow to say the least but we each managed to catch a 12 inch largemouth. His might have been a little bigger than mine but he's a bad photographer, so it might look like mine was a lot smaller...it wasn't :) Water was extremely clear. We started out in the spot we have had the most success at. Got one bite but I didnt hook him. Saw a HUGE splash a few feet to my right at one point, the bass that caused it must have been at least 15+ inches. Eventually we headed to a rocky area that drops into deeper water. That proved to be the ticket. Both our bass were caught in the last 30 minutes of daylight. We saw a bunch of minnows in the shallows but the bass weren't cruising around as much as I thought they would be. Well it was a fun trip and I caught a decent bass, and had a great time with my dad. Don't get a lot better than that.
