A wonderful Birthday

Well, it has been a long time coming and the boss reminded me today that I should have done this a long time ago. In early August I turned 45. I had a wonderful time on my birthday thanks to my wonderful wife. She got a babysitter and we got to spent our first trip alone in the boat. Bought Tina a 5 day fishing license and we hit the river. Great time together and she was a champ out there. Got a few smallies but the big fish of the day was her Walleye!! Yes, a walleye. She did drop a rod overboard and I did have to go swimming to no avail but, with her luck, the rod was resurrected by the anchor rope.

After fishing we went to a couple of real good redneck places and finished up with some chili dogs at The Hard Times.

A couple of pics attached. I sure do love that woman.

PS.. She does remind me that, once again, she outfished me just like on our FIRST DATE. The fish I am holding is her Walleye since she couldn't hold it up to the camera properly :)
