ON FIRE!
jackson  07/12/2008 - 12:18  Trip Reports

Hit a small stream this morning and they were on fire! Not tubes, but small 1/5 oz. deep diving cranks and 3/8 0z buzzbaits. Most fish came off the flats well beyond the tail end of the riffles and/or holes. Not on any particular cover, just in a flat out feeding mode! One fish in particular, even though the photo does not do it justice, had to be pushing 3 lbs. She was thick, heavy, and very healthy! Actually, I at first thought it was a musky. Easily had well over 30 fish not including those aggressive palm sized perch. Best part was I was off water by high-noon before it became so HOT!

Nice morning
