Hey fellas.. I figured muskalungee would post a report of our outing on memorial day but Im guessing he's extremely busy wit work and the family. We dropped in a river near you around 7ish and caught some nice fish early. Nothing to extremely large but the fish seeemed extremely strong. The fish in the 14-16 range were fighting like monsters. and the fish in the 12-14 inch range were also fun to catch. Mike, caught a monster 18" and I had a nice 17". The day was wonderful, we ended up catchin 94 smallies and two rock bass.. haha .. ohh and also a sweet sunburn.. But I got the chance to see the captain and smalljaw which is always a pleasure.. ohh and OG showed up after work to top off a great day. I can't wait to get the opportunity to get out there again..

I felt a little rusty on my hook sets all day, I need to get out more,,lol
Sorry i had to leave early,, it was hard to stay awake at work that night.

muskalungee 05/30/2008 - 09:52 That was a blast. The "Original" MDfishing.org crew was as you can see from the picture above with The Capt, Oppiey & Smalljaw. We didn't actually fish "together" for very long, but it was great catching up with you all a bit.

Budha, you definitely brought some fish with you when you made your afternoon appearance with your papa smurf shirt. Good times.

Last few days Ive been having some of the best days of smallie fishing in my life. When its on ....boy is it on!!
