Not sure who's seen the bait yet, but the x-rap shad looks like something I will be adding to my (already too large) lure inventory. Here's a long commercial on it from youtube:

TOOBIGTOYAK  02/09/2008 - 16:23    Dicks has five less on there shelves 6.79 a pop but the hot pink one is 5.79, never used pink but the guy at the hawghead booth at the show said they work when there is a little color in the water plus I can't pass a little savings. I can't wait to get after them big spring smallies see ya TOO BIG

Looks pretty sweet
Steve826  02/05/2008 - 16:17    I'm not all that familiar with Rapalas, I've used floating Rapalas a few times but that's all. I mostly fish tubes and the like..maybe I'll have to give this thing a try.

X-Raps
chris  02/03/2008 - 17:10    I'm new here but thought I would add that I've been using X-Raps for a couple of years. They are great multi-species baits. Smallies and pike have been my target. But I've caught walleye and largemouth on them as well.

Welcome!
muskalungee  02/04/2008 - 21:17    Welcome to the site Chris. I too am I big fan of the X-Raps, and a huge Rapala fan in general. Have you used the X-Rap shad yet?

Slipping..you betcha
muskalungee  02/04/2008 - 21:19    You betcha I'm slipping, I just bought a mangled and used Pflueger President just for the challenge of putting the thing back together. Well, not to mention the fact it came with 3 spare spools which were fully loaded. :) You know I'm always up for a challenge.
