I did not get to go (honey-do list), but my buds went early and caught a few on top-water early, then on grubs. They said the water was just a little murky, but definitely fishable.

I have not been up that way to see the river myself, but the USGS chart shows the water level back down to the pre storm(7/28-7/29)levels. It has been my experience in the past that this should result in fishable water clarity. Good luck!

We have put in up near Toms Creek. If I remember it wasnt easy to put the boats in but we finally managed. The river is really nice. Rather narrow but very private. You past through farm lands and the river itself was very overgrown on the sides. A lot of rock cliffs that rise up out of the water. We took out at creagerstown park and it was a really long float. So I would imagine now it would take much longer with the current water level. Good luck. If you go let me know how it is. We had pretty decent luck with fishing as well.
