Introduction

An online book intended to be authored by people that actually fish the Monocacy River in Maryland USA. Feel free to create chapters and pages as you see fit. If we see a better way to organize the information then we may move some pages around or re-label them. Other than that have fun and who knows sometimes things like this get really big over time. Let's hope.

We hooked up with a few small
parker  11/03/2010 - 00:26    We hooked up with a few smallies 14-17 and a near 20lb carp.
Fish were in a favorite mid river spot I hit during winter months. It doesnt look like a winter hole but for some reason the fish like it.
MB7-227 Enough protection and right bottom composition for them I guess..so it is a winter hole.MB7-226 Just not what youd expect to fish for smallies in the middle of frigid temps as its only 3 ft deep.
Carp hit a small tube on 6lb test..MB7-225.took quite a while to get in.MB7-231 The lucky angler who caught it was extremely pleased w/ the fight and complained of his arm being sore.
